Day of Vernal Equinox is celebrated on March 21st of each year.
On this day, the Sun is positioned directly over the Earth's equator. The Vernal Equinox represents one-half of the cycle the other half is known as the Autumn Equinox.

This day is a celebration of an ancient Buddhist tale that when the night and day become equal Buddha visits earth for one week to rescue stray souls and lead them to Nirvana.
