Initially, it was declared that film would be the ideal artform for communist Russia because of its populist potential and facility in propaganda. Stalin's era created only two films: Aleksandr Nevsky and Ivan Groznyi. These films were made during the Patriotic war when censorship was slightly loosened. In the late 1950s and early 1960s Soviet cinema again flowered. The 1980s saw a diversification of subject matter. Touchy issues could now be discussed openly. The collapse of the Soviet Union brought a virtual end to quality cinema in Russia and the other republics. The new Russia's cinema is more profit-oriented, specializing in low-quality action and comedy.

I have done a lot of international traveling on my own without using a tour and Anastasia does make it very simple and easy. I think the tour is the only way to go initially to any area. Once you have been there and have a feel for it you can go back on your own but the socials really help you to find what you are looking for.The most important thing to remember is you are looking for the right woman (you will meet a lot of women if you want to)so do not get too depressed if you do not find her at the 1st or 2nd social because like me you might find her at the last moment of the last social as I did.

The Mar.30-Apr.10 tour was a great event in my life. The airline and hotel accomodations were excellent, especially Hotel Odessa. I especially enjoyed the socials and the opportunity to meet some great ladies. The socials were exciting and the ladies were numerous as well as being of high quality.I would like to say that I have met a lady of my dreams, and our future together is in her hands since I did not think it advisable to request an immediate decision from her. I believe I have done the right thing to give her more time to consider a decision of this magnitude. A carefully considered decision is more likely to lead to a long term successful marriage relationship.
