Being an ecologist I feel extremely happy when I’m among the nature. I can’t imagine my life without sea and I think it’s not just the matter of coincidence that I was born in Odessa. My great passion is walking along the beach and sometimes I gaze at the sea like entranced. The sun, the sea and the beach….that’s my perfect image! When I’m sad and in low spirits guess where I’m making my way to….correct! The beach! Isolated beach where I’d be able to remain in a state of solitude to think over a lot of aspects of my life. However just when I’m satisfied with my loneliness I’m striving for the night life of my city to get its power and energy.

August 6^th, The International Day of Peace

The International Day of Peace is celebrated on August 6^th of each year.

This is a day, which was proposed by the Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear Threat. This day is an anniversary of bombing Japanese city Hiroshima in 1945. This day serves as a reminder of this human tragedy and of the role of doctors in the struggle for peace and the prevention of war.
