July 11^th, World Population Day

World Population Day is celebrated on July 11^th of each year.

The Governing Council of the United Nations Development Program established World Population Day in 1989. This day was inspired by another celebratory day know as the Five Billion Day, established in 1987; marking the world population at five billion.

World Population Day is a time to focus on commitment and action to ensure that every pregnancy is wanted, every birth is safe, every young person is free of HIV/AIDS, and every girl and woman is treated with dignity and respect. The theme of this year's World Population Day is Men as Partners in Maternal Health.

Suggested activities for World Population Day include, activities organizing public contests for posters, essays, and plays about the importance of involving men in women's issues.

I did enjoy parts of Odessa, the Disco are very nice, and the Young Ladies for most part are very nice. I am planning to go back some time this summer if I can get away, it will not be Odessa, I am looking at Moscow or St Petersburg, or Latvia. Everybody from Anastasia was very helpful, professional and very nice. Overall I had a very nice time, I would do it again. I hope to hear from You in the future and maybe see you in St Petersburg or Moscow some day.

Priviet Margarita, I thought the tour was a wonderful experience. I thought the staff did a great job considering how many men were on the tour. I thought the tour was a great success. Bowling was a lot of fun! I thought the women were beautiful, the staff tremendously supportive, and the city and it's people very charming. I wish it would have lasted longer. I have some wonderful pictures that i took of the girl i met and I will try to send those as soon as I can. Wishing you all the best and thanks!
